Position: Talent Acquisition Manager          at Cushing Terrell        in        Seattle,        Washington

Talent Acquisition Manager

The Talent Acquisition Manager leads Cushing Terrell's recruiting function, splitting time between personally recruiting the firm's most strategic and senior hires and leading a team of recruiters. This is a newly created role that can be based remotely or in one of our Boise, Billings, Bozeman, Missoula, Denver, Seattle, or Austin offices.

What does this role involve day to day? Roughly half the role is spent personally owning full-cycle recruiting for leadership, principal, and other high-priority searches, and half is spent coaching and developing the recruiting team through 1:1s, pipeline reviews, and hands-on skill building. You will build the recruiting strategy, metrics, and systems that support Cushing Terrell's continued growth, partnering closely with the Chief People Officer, practice leaders, and Marketing along the way.

Recruiting in professional services architecture and engineering is a specialized discipline in itself, and this role is built for someone who wants to shape it as the firm scales.

What does success look like in year one? Consistent recruiting metrics in place across the team, measurable improvement in time-to-fill, and a documented recruitment strategy that practice leaders and hiring managers can rely on.

The expected salary range for this position is $125,000 to $145,000 annually.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and education

10+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including 2 to 3 years leading or managing recruiters

Proven track record personally recruiting and closing senior or leadership-level roles

Strong full-cycle recruiting skills, including sourcing, screening, and closing senior candidates

Experience managing vendor and agency relationships, including negotiating fees

Proficiency with applicant tracking systems such as Jobvite and sourcing platforms such as Linked In Recruiter

Ability to travel up to 15% annually

AIRS, Linked In Recruiter, SHRM-CP, or PHR certification

Experience recruiting in professional services, architecture, engineering, design, or other technical or licensed-professional environments

Experience building or evolving employer brand, recruiting marketing, or campus and early-career programs

Analytical, data-informed approach to recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and quality of hire

Familiarity with additional ATS or sourcing platforms such as Greenhouse, Workday, Jobvite, iCIMS, Lever, Juicebox, or Seek Out

Partner with the Chief People Officer and practice leaders to translate workforce plans into annual hiring plans and an actionable recruiting strategy

Build and report recruiting dashboards covering pipeline health, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and quality of hire to drive continuous improvement

Partner with Marketing to shape employer brand strategy, manage the careers site, and strengthen Cushing Terrell's presence on Linked In, Glassdoor, and Indeed

Develop and execute campus and early-career recruiting strategy, including target school selection and internship and entry-level hiring programs

Select and manage the vendor and agency portfolio, negotiating fees and monitoring performance and return on investment
