HR Generalist

Job Summary

We are seeking an HR Generalist for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Seattle, WA. This fully in-office role is ideal for an early-career Human Resources professional who enjoys creating a welcoming employee experience, supporting recruiting and onboarding, and keeping HR operations organized and compliant.

The HR Generalist will serve as the first point of contact for new hires, applicants, employees, and hiring managers. This is a great opportunity to join a professional HR environment where accuracy, customer service, teamwork, and reliability are highly valued. The role offers hands-on exposure to recruitment coordination, onboarding, HRIS data maintenance, employee records, compliance follow-up, and day-to-day HR support.

• Serve as the primary HR front desk point of contact for employees, applicants, new hires, and hiring managers.
• Coordinate onboarding activities, including scheduling, new hire packets, tours, I-9, E-Verify, W-4 forms, and related documentation.
• Support recruitment operations, including job postings, applicant assistance, requisition tracking, and interview coordination as needed.
• Maintain accurate employee records, HR files, HRIS data, compliance documentation, and follow-up tracking.
• Assist with HR office operations, including mail distribution, room scheduling, inventory tracking, badges, ORCA cards, surveys, and general administrative support.
• Help provide a smooth, professional, and welcoming HR experience while supporting compliance and data integrity.

• Pay rate: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour.
