Russell Tobin & Associates is seeking an HR Generalist to work with one of our major e-commerce technology clients. This role is working onsite in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of HR fundamentals- performance management, and investigations.

Pay: $32 - 35 per hour on W2

Duration: 6 month contract – with possible extension

Job Description:

Required:

• 3-5 years’ experience in the PM/investigations space is idea.
• ER background
• Can work in a busy environment
• Performance management investigations
• Adaptability to learn
• CMS experience
• High judgement
• Ability to balance priorities and systems

Overview

• Administers human resources policies and procedures that cover two or more functional areas. Collects and analyzes HR data, and then makes recommendations to management.
• Processes paperwork for functional area according to established procedures.
• May prepare internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, or company policies.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a manager.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Typical Day

• Case work, supporting manager outreach for HR support
• Big portion of employee relations – investigations – ER background
• Ad-hoc case triaging
• 5-10 cases per day on average, full ownership

Must be authorized to work in the United States
