Program Manager, Employee and Hiring Experience
The School of Medicine Dean's Office has an outstanding opportunity for a Program Manager, Employee and Hiring Experience, to join their team.
About this OpportunityReporting to the Recruiting Manager, the Program Manager leads initiatives that enhance the experiences of candidates, employees, hiring managers, and departments throughout key workforce transition points, including hiring, onboarding, orientation, workforce readiness, internal mobility, and offboarding. The position is responsible for building and sustaining the infrastructure, systems, processes, tools, reporting, and service models that support a scalable, consistent, and high-quality employee and hiring experience across a complex academic medicine environment.
As the School of Medicine evolves toward an integrated HR service model, the Program Manager plays a critical role in continually developing and improving sustainable programs, establishing employee lifecycle standards, and implementing technology-enabled solutions that improve workforce effectiveness, compliance, operational efficiency, and employee satisfaction. Through the use of workforce data, automation, process improvement, and stakeholder partnerships, the Program Manager identifies opportunities to enhance employee experiences and drive continuous improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities Program Leadership, Analytics & Automation (40%)- Lead the development, implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of School-wide staff employee and hiring experience programs.
- Build and sustain the infrastructure, systems, processes, service models, and tools that support scalable employee lifecycle programs across participating SoM departments.
- Establish program goals, key performance indicators, performance measures, and reporting frameworks that support data-informed decision making and continuous improvement.
- Lead School-wide initiatives focused on improving the hiring experience for candidates, hiring managers, and departments from recruitment through workforce integration.
- Develop and maintain onboarding frameworks, employee journey maps, orientation programs, communications, manager resources, and implementation tools that support a consistent and welcoming employee experience.
- Design and maintain the infrastructure supporting workforce readiness, including onboarding pathways, required training compliance tracking, accountability measures, reporting dashboards, automated workflows, and employee and manager resources.
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of School-wide offboarding and employee transition programs.
- Develop standardized processes, communications, tools, and resources that support a consistent, professional, and employee-centered separation experience.
- Monitor and analyze workforce data, turnover trends, employee feedback, and separation insights to identify opportunities for organizational improvement.
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of School-wide internal mobility programs that support career growth, workforce sustainability, and employee retention.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition, HR leadership, Learning & Organizational Development, and departmental stakeholders to strengthen awareness of career opportunities and advancement pathways across the SoM.
- Establish processes, resources, communications, and tools that promote transparency, accessibility, and consistency in internal career movement opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field.
- Two or more years of experience in human resources, employee experience, program management, or related roles.

Additional Qualifications- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, navigate ambiguity, and exercise independent judgment in problem-solving and decision-making.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with cross-functional partners in a highly complex organization structure.
