Physician Recruiter

Overview

Prime Physicians is a leading healthcare staffing and consulting company serving facilities across federal agencies (HHS, IHS, VA, DHA). We are seeking a Senior Physician Recruiter with expertise in locum tenens and permanent placements. This is a remote role with flexible work arrangements.

• Source and recruit physicians and APPs for locum tenens and permanent positions through various channels.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment from initial contact to contract negotiation and placement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and facilities for future placements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to match qualified candidates with client needs.
• Maintain database of candidates and track recruitment metrics.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.

• Minimum 8 years of physician recruitment experience, with success in locum and permanent placements.
• Experience working for healthcare staffing companies (not hospital/health system recruiters).
• Must have placed at least 200 physicians in total; average of 25 per year.
• Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry and facility needs.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and meet placement targets.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• U.S. Citizenship.

• Average base salary with performance-based compensation.
• Contingency or bonus payments tied to successful placements and/or gross margin.
