This leadership role leads the Platform Services engineer team responsible for core employee‑facing platforms and services. You will oversee teams managing our Service Now instance, driving integration services, ensuring quality engineering, and accelerating our use of AI and automation. Your leadership will transform our employee experience from a support function to a strategic driver of engagement and organizational resilience.
Responsibilities- Team Leadership & Management:
Lead and manage a multi‑disciplinary team of engineers and architects responsible for the Digital, GRC, and Functional PODs. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and engineering excellence. - Strategic Platform Ownership:
Define and execute the strategic vision for the Digital EX platform services, including Service Now, integration services, and automation. Align with overall EX pillar strategy and business goals. - Cross‑Functional
Collaboration:
Partner closely with Delivery Leaders for People, Finance & Legal business systems to understand and meet functional G&A business needs. - Resource Planning & Execution:
Manage resourcing for your teams, identify skill gaps, and plan for future needs through full‑time hires and consulting partners. Drive project execution, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery. - Operational Excellence:
Drive operational excellence of our platforms, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security. Implement best practices for software development, QA, and platform management. - Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as the primary point of contact for platform‑related initiatives, communicating progress, risks, and strategies to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise software or IT, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Experience in Enterprise Application and Integration architecture.
- Proven track record of managing engineering teams responsible for development, QA, and systems administration.
- Strong understanding of modern software development methodologies (Agile, Dev Ops) and experience implementing them.
- Experience managing platforms like Service Now.
- Experience with enterprise integration strategies and technologies such as Boomi, OIC, Workato, etc.
- Experience in Automation and AI implementations for Business Systems & Productivity applications.
- Experience with establishing quality engineering across functional areas such as Finance, Procurement, etc.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into a clear technical strategy.
