As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Trase Systems, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our ML systems—from model training to LLM fine‑tuning—driving impact and continuing to evolve with the business.
Responsibilities- Architect, Build, and Optimize ML Systems: Deploy robust ML models that deliver high‑impact results for real‑world applications.
- Training Pipeline Development: Design and implement scalable pipelines to train and retrain models, ensuring they meet business needs.
- Fine‑Tuning Large Language Models (LLMs): Continuously refine LLMs for enterprise requirements, enhancing accuracy and relevance.
- Feedback Systems Design: Build and iterate on feedback loops to improve model performance over time.
- Cross‑Functional
Collaboration:
Work closely with product and business teams to translate requirements into ML solutions with tangible outcomes. - Stay Current with ML Advancements: Apply cutting‑edge research and best practices to keep our infrastructure at the forefront.
- Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing: Guide junior team members and foster a culture of technical growth.
- Technical Communication: Clearly explain ML methods, results, and insights to non‑technical stakeholders.
- ML Systems Expertise: Proven experience developing, optimizing, and deploying ML systems in production.
- Model Training and Pipeline Mastery: Strong background building end‑to‑end training pipelines.
- LLM Fine‑Tuning: Deep knowledge of fine‑tuning large language models for specific use cases.
- Framework Proficiency: Skilled in Tensor Flow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks.
- Programming
Skills:
Proficient in Python, writing efficient, clean, and maintainable code. - Clear Communicator: Ability to distill complex ML concepts for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Impactful ML Solutions: Track record of delivering ML solutions that drive real‑world value.
- Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance

Salary Range: $175,000–$225,000. This range reflects typical pay for this position based on experience, skills, and other factors.
