** Job Description
** The Sr. Platform Engineer is a key member of the Productivity and Collaboration Platforms team, responsible for designing, developing, and supporting solutions across our portfolio of enterprise platforms:
SharePoint, Service Now, Windows and Mac Endpoints, Exchange, Jira, and Slack. This role is focused on taking a lead on building self-service capabilities that empower partner teams, reduce escalations, and drive operational excellence. This Engineer will move beyond reactive support, proactively identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and deliver scalable solutions that deflect common issues before they reach escalation.##

A day in the life...
* Analyze incident and request data to identify patterns and opportunities for automation or process improvement.
* Collaborate with other senior engineers and partner teams to gather requirements, define solution architectures, and deliver robust, maintainable code.
* Design, develop, and implement automation solutions and integrations across SharePoint, Service Now, MS Teams, Exchange, Slack, and Jira to enable self-service and reduce manual escalations.
* Build deployment packages for Software Center and manage Group Policy Objects
* Build and maintain AI agents and MCP servers to supported platforms.
* Code review scripts, agents, workflows, and connectors using Power Shell, Power Automate, Git Hub, and other relevant tools.
* Create and review technical documentation, knowledge articles, and self-service resources for end users and partner teams.
* Participate in the incident response process for complex or high-impact issues that require engineering intervention.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of monitoring, alerting, and reporting for supported platforms and services.
* Stay current with platform updates, best practices, and emerging technologies in the collaboration and automation space.## You own this if you have...
* 5+ years of experience in a technical engineering role supporting enterprise collaboration platforms (SharePoint, MS Teams, Service Now, Jira, Exchange, Slack, or similar).
* Bachelor's Degree in CS or related field, or equivalent working experience.
* 3+ years of experience with deploying apps with Microsoft Software Center.
* 3+ years of experience managing Group Policy Objects
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and deliver sustainable solutions.
* Experience designing, building, and maintaining automations, scripts, or integrations using Power Shell, Python, JavaScript, or similar tools.
* Experience with source control systems (specifically Git Hub) and CI/CD pipelines.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment.
* Familiarity with ITSM processes and experience working with incident, request, and change management workflows.
* Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation as needed.##

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), Service Now development, or Jira administration.
* Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and platform-specific SDKs for integration work.
* Familiarity with cloud computing environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
* Familiarity with AI Agents and how they work.
* Knowledge of security best practices for collaboration platforms and automation.#LI-Hybrid
