This OpportunityThis Dedicated Support Research Analyst role is high impact and challenging, offering growth through access to a large Electronic Health Record (EHR) dataset and opportunities to address meaningful healthcare questions. The position reports to the Director of Research Enablement and Development on the Partner Research and Success team. The analyst works in a strategic partnership with some of our largest life science customers and may be 100% dedicated to one account or 50% to two accounts, allowing deep engagement on ambitious research questions.
Responsibilities- Meet with customers to understand needs for technical analyses and enablement. This includes setting up weekly meetings with end users and account leaders to assess value from the Truveta EHR data subscription, scoping solutions, and working with the director to set timelines and manage client expectations.
- Work with the manager and success team to develop and pursue an overall strategy for dedicated support accounts.
- Scope customer analyses requests and produce studies and results using SQL, R and Python within agreed deadlines.
- Collaborate with life sciences customers on analyses to help them produce peer‑reviewed publications.
- Communicate project status and collaborate with success managers to ensure clients’ success with the platform.
- Excel in providing technical analytics support and in direct customer interactions on calls to troubleshoot analyses.
- Help customers achieve their goals by teaching them how to wrangle and analyze data using SQL, R and Python on RWD to address empirical questions.
- Write regex queries using Databricks SQL to extract clinical concepts from clinical notes per customer request.
- Create enablement materials to help onboard new researchers as Truveta capabilities evolve.
- Collaborate with other Truveta teams to investigate data sources and demonstrate data veracity to current customers.
- Provide feedback to internal teams to inform Truveta’s product roadmap.
- Undergraduate or graduate level education in clinical research, data analysis, clinical informatics or related field.
- Experience working with large databases containing millions of patients’ data.
- 3+ years of experience wrangling and analyzing Electronic Health Record data or other Real World Data sources in life science companies, CROs, other EHR data companies or healthcare, using SQL, R and Python.
- Willingness to learn new coding languages including internal proprietary languages to analyze data and build cohorts.
- 2+ years of experience working with customers to deliver high quality research analyses.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic startup environment.
These qualifications are preferred but not required. You may have the opportunity to learn these more advanced analyses if you don’t have experience with them.

- Base pay range: $94,000 to $145,000 plus potential incentive pay and stock options
