Data Engineer Position Overview

The Data Engineer supports the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and analytics solutions within a cloud-based data environment. This role works with large datasets to enable reliable reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision making, and is well suited for early-career or entry-level candidates.

• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Spark and SparkSQL

• Support the build and enhancement of cloud-based data warehouse solutions

• Write, test, and optimize data processing scripts to support analytics and reporting needs

• Assist with data validation, quality checks, and backfill operations

• Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and performance issues

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions

• Support reporting, analytics, and dashboarding initiatives by providing clean, structured data

• Maintain documentation for data workflows and processes

• Contribute to continuous improvement of data engineering tools and practices

• 0–3 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or a related technical role

• Experience working with Spark and SparkSQL

• Solid SQL skills and experience querying large datasets

• Exposure to cloud-based data warehouse platforms

• Experience scripting in Python or similar languages

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Clear written and verbal communication skills
