Systems Analyst (PLM Systems) / Required Working Onsite 4 Days Per Week (Seattle, WA) / (6 Month Contract)

The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Systems Analyst with deep expertise in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems—specifically FlexPLM or comparable platforms used in apparel, retail, and fashion product creation environments. This role supports the end-to-end product creation process, enabling design and development teams, optimizing digital tools, and ensuring accurate data flow through Go‑to‑Market (GTM) milestones. This is a niche, high‑impact position for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, product development, and design.

- Strong understanding of design/development workflows
- Knowledge of Go‑to‑Market processes and cross‑functional product lifecycle
- Apparel or retail experience at a global brand
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid project methodologies
- Solid understanding of data governance and PIM (Product Information Management)
- Practical experience using or configuring PLM systems, managing product data, workflows, and tech packs
- Familiarity with concept‑to‑sample processes and collaboration between Design, Development, and Sourcing
- Proven ability to work through seasonal calendars, milestone gates, and GTM alignment
- Experience in apparel, footwear, or retail within global teams and multi‑region supplier environments
- Comfort operating in Agile/hybrid delivery models (sprints, backlogs, ceremonies, stage‑gate crossover)
- Understanding of product attributes, data standards, and data flow across PLM, PIM, ERP, and e‑commerce systems
- Partner with Global Product teams to enhance and support PLM capabilities across Design, Development, and Merchandising
- Act as a subject matter expert in FlexPLM (or similar systems), including configuration, workflow optimization, data structures, and integrations
- Support digital design and development tools, ensuring alignment with PLM workflows
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams involved in GTM operations to ensure consistent and accurate product data
- Utilize tools such as Airtable to build complementary workflows or extend PLM functionality
- Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and manage enhancements or feature rollouts
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams
- Lead documentation, training, and change‑management initiatives to support system adoption
- 8–10+ years as a Systems Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role supporting product creation technologies
- Deep hands‑on experience with FlexPLM or other PLM platforms used in fashion, retail, or consumer goods
- Strong understanding of design & development workflows (tech packs, BOMs, materials, product handoff)
- Experience with digital design tools (2D/3D design platforms preferred)
- Familiarity with GTM processes and cross‑functional alignment from concept to in‑market
- Ability to configure or support tools like Airtable and build lightweight operational workflows
- Excellent communication skills across both creative and technical teams
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment across global partners
