Overview
The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team is seeking an experienced Sales Manager Pro Serve (SMP) to lead a team of Pro Serve Account Executives and Cloud Architects. You will drive transformative IT projects for clients, focusing on IT strategy, distributed architecture, and hybrid cloud operations. The SMP is a trusted advisor who collaborates with Pro Serve sales and delivery teams to ensure sellers are working backwards from customers and proposing solutions that optimize the delivery of desired business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Leading and developing a high-performing team of Account Executives and Cloud Architects
- Developing and supporting execution of sales strategies to meet team targets and drive revenue growth
- Managing customer relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and identifying new opportunities
- Leveraging deep AWS knowledge to guide sellers in proposing optimal solutions
- Monitoring and analysing key performance indicators, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting to optimize operational processes and manage risk

- 7+ years of technology sales, or 3+ years of management experience
- Experience with cloud, server or infrastructure technologies and business models
- Experience in senior leadership work in sales operations, sales strategy, finance, business development, or related fields
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience integrating AWS cloud services with on-premise technologies (e.g., Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP)
- Experience building and maintaining C-level client relationships

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
