Communications Manager – Data Center Development

Our client is an American infrastructure developer delivering power-ready and construction-ready sites for large-scale data center and advanced computing users. This company works across multiple metro areas and is bringing core project communications in-house to sit directly alongside development teams. This role will own early-stage narrative, community messaging, and project-level PR for complex infrastructure projects.

• Lead communications for active and pipeline development projects across multiple U.S. metros
• Draft project FAQs, community materials, and clear explanations of data center benefits and impacts
• Shape and manage project narratives in coordination with development, power, and permitting teams
• Handle PR and external messaging related to individual projects
• Produce first-draft materials that are close to final and ready for stakeholder review
• Act as the internal point person coordinating consultants, advisors, and local communications efforts

• Prior communications experience with a data center company or as a consultant working on data center engagements
• Experience drafting project-specific FAQs, community messaging, and PR materials
• Strong understanding of public, political, and community considerations around data center development
• Ability to work embedded with development teams rather than as a standalone corporate comms function
