PAY RANGE: $53 - $63/hr.

Tech background, PMI/PMP certification, and familiarity with software development lifecycle are highly valued

Summary:
The main function of a non-IT project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems, product roll-out, or any other non-IT-based project.

Job Responsibilities:

Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.
Direct, review, and approve product designs and changes.
Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Building integrated experiences within apps
Working closely with partners to get data & APIs
Working with partners across different companies & providing cross-functional data
Manage projects across companies

Skills:

Project estimating, project scheduling & tracking, customer interaction and management, implementation planning in large organizations
Proven people management and team building skills
Demonstrated ability to be flexible/adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities
Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with business partners at different levels within the organization
Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications/products and business functions
Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment
Experience with software development lifecycle

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Tech background experience preferred

Degrees/Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
PMI or PMP certification preferred
