Workato Integration Specialist

Engagement Type: Contract (1099 or W2 only — No C2C)

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Workato Integration Specialist (Contract) who can step in immediately to design, build, debug, and support production Workato recipes.

This role is for someone with deep, practical Workato experience who can operate independently from day one. Workato is the #1 priority in this role. This is not a general integration or architecture position—you will be in the platform building and maintaining automations that support real business operations.

You will also configure and support CRM and/or ATS platforms that integrate with Workato, ensuring

clean data flows, reliable automation, and production-ready integrations.

We are a Workato and Salesforce consulting partner, and this role will support active, production Workato implementations across CRM, ATS, and other SaaS platforms.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, test, and maintain complex Workato recipes in production
• Implement robust triggers, actions, error handling, and retry logic
• Troubleshoot failed jobs, data mismatches, and performance issues
• Refactor and optimize existing recipes for reliability and scalability
• Support versioning, environments, deployments, and operational stability

CRM / ATS Platform Configuration

• Configure and support CRM or ATS platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Hub Spot, Bullhorn, Greenhouse, or similar)
• Manage objects, fields, workflows, automations, and permissions
• Align platform configurations with operational workflows and business requirements
• Support data models and lifecycle logic used by integrated systems

Cross-Platform Integration

• Integrate CRMs, ATSs, and other SaaS platforms via Workato
• Define and document data mappings, transformations, and integration logic
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for integrations
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and governance across systems

Delivery & Collaboration

• Partner with solution architects and client stakeholders
• Clarify requirements and translate them into working integrations
• Produce clear, practical documentation for automations and configurations
• Support post-deployment stabilization and incremental enhancements

What We’re Looking For

• Deep, hands-on experience building and maintaining Workato recipes
• Strong understanding of iPaaS patterns (APIs, webhooks, error handling, retries)
• Experience configuring CRM and/or ATS platforms (Salesforce, Hub Spot, or similar)
• Ability to troubleshoot independently in live production environments
• Comfortable stepping into existing systems and delivering immediately

Strongly Preferred

• Salesforce and/or Hub Spot certifications
• Experience integrating CRM/ATS platforms with downstream systems
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and authentication methods
• Experience supporting mission-critical automations

Nice to Have

• Experience in staffing, recruiting, or sales operations environments
• Exposure to other integration platforms (Mule Soft, Zapier, etc.)
• Light scripting or data manipulation experience
