As a Sr. Technical Program Manager for the Global Optimization Team, you'll lead cross-functional initiatives across Japan, Emerging Marketplaces, and international regions to accelerate product development and scientific innovation. With a unique charter to cut across the entire ads stack, you'll orchestrate end-to-end delivery and drive process improvements across product, science, and engineering teams—removing blockers, streamlining workflows, and enabling faster iteration cycles.
Your scope spans the full advertising technology landscape—from bidding and ranking systems to creative optimization, measurement, and customer insights. You'll partner with multiple organizations and teams to understand distinct country dynamics and shopper behaviors, then help accelerate the development of breakthrough advertising products powered by advanced technology.
Key job responsibilitiesAccelerating innovation velocity across the entire ads stack through optimized development processes and cross-org collaboration
Building from the ground up in international markets by establishing scalable frameworks and best practices that can be rapidly deployed and iterated
Enabling rapid product iteration through improved processes, infrastructure, and team coordination across multiple organizations
Bridging product and science to ensure customer insights drive technical roadmap prioritization

Basic Qualifications5+ years of technical product or program management experience
3+ years of software development experience
5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps
5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
