Position Summary

The Product Manager will lead the end-to-end implementation of Acumatica ERP across the organization. This role blends product management, project leadership, and systems analysis to ensure the platform is successfully deployed, optimized, and aligned with business objectives.

This individual will serve as the product owner during implementation while also managing project timelines, stakeholder engagement, system requirements, and process improvements. Post-implementation, this role will continue driving roadmap enhancements, system optimization, and cross-functional adoption.

This is a highly visible role requiring strong ERP implementation experience, business process acumen, and the ability to operate both strategically and tactically.

Key Responsibilities Product Management
  • Own the Acumatica product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Define and prioritize features, enhancements, and integrations aligned with business goals.
  • Act as Product Owner during implementation, managing backlog and sprint priorities.
  • Partner with executive leadership and functional stakeholders to align system capabilities with operational needs.
  • Drive adoption, user enablement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead full lifecycle Accumatica implementation (planning through go-live and stabilization).
  • Develop and manage project plans, milestones, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Finance, Operations, IT, and external vendors.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure successful data migration, system configuration, testing, and deployment.
Systems Analysis
  • Gather and document detailed business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Analyze workflows and recommend process improvements.
  • Support system configuration, reporting, and integration requirements.
  • Act as liaison between business users and technical teams.
Ongoing Optimization
  • Monitor system performance and user feedback.
  • Recommend enhancements and automation opportunities.
  • Manage vendor relationships and support contracts.
  • Ensure system scalability as the company grows.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in ERP implementation and/or product management.
  • Strong understanding of ERP modules (Finance, Project Accounting, Construction, Distribution, etc.).
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional technology projects.
  • Experience functioning as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong documentation and requirements gathering skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and executive presentation abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in construction, engineering, professional services, or project-based industries.
  • Agile or Scrum certification.
  • PMP certification.
  • Experience with integrations, APIs, and third-party system connectivity.
  • Data migration and reporting expertise.
