Databricks Unity Catalog Engineer

Looking for a highly experienced Data Platform Engineer with deep expertise in Databricks and Unity Catalog. The ideal candidate should have strong hands‑on experience in building and governing enterprise data platforms from the ground up.

• 12+ years of experience in data engineering and enterprise data platform development
• Strong hands‑on expertise in Databricks
  , including advanced ETL/ELT pipeline development
• Proven experience in setting up and configuring Unity Catalog from scratch
• Experience with data governance and security tools such as Privacera and Collibra
• Strong understanding of metadata management, data lineage, and data quality frameworks
• Experience designing scalable data models and enterprise data architectures
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance, data access controls, and security best practices
• Experience supporting ML model deployment in batch and real‑time data environments

• Architect and implement scalable data platform solutions using Databricks ecosystem tools
• Build and optimize robust data pipelines ensuring high performance and reliability
• Implement and manage governance frameworks leveraging Unity Catalog and Collibra
• Ensure platform‑level data security, access control, and compliance alignment
• Define data standards, metadata strategies, and governance policies
• Enable operationalization of machine learning workflows within governed data pipelines
• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
