IT Project Manager, IT Consultant
This is a rare opportunity to join the Financials and Procurement Team (FPS) team as the Technology and Development Team Leader
. We are seeking a highly experienced people leader for an amazing group of experienced technologists and developers. Experience in a leadership role or equivalent with an emphasis on technical strategy and development is a must.
The BRC oversees King County's business systems, which include applications, infrastructure, software, and vendor relationships. The team also supports business processes, system governance, and work prioritization to effectively serve county agencies.
BRC Director's OfficeThis team provides guidance to the BRC and advises county leaders on strategies to enhance the county's ERP business systems. They also manage the day‑to‑day operations of the BRC in support of continuous improvement and a cohesive team approach to govern, manage and support the county's ERP systems.
BI Insights TeamThis team specializes in developing and managing business intelligence analytics across our suite of Oracle ERP applications and SAP Concur. This team also collaborates and works closely with our business partners and county departments to deliver meaningful analytics in support of county business operations. The team is committed to expanding the use of analytics tools and enhancing ERP data governance across the county.
Financialsand Procurement Team
This team specializes in Oracle EBS Financials and Procurement, Oracle Procurement Cloud, Cloud Suppliers, Cloud Customer Experience, and SAP Concur travel management. The team collaborates with our many business partners and departments to deliver financials, procurement, travel management and expense, and treasury processes and solutions across all county business operations.
HR and Payroll System TeamThis team specializes in People Soft HR, payroll, and retirement systems, collaborating with our business partners and county departments to deliver HR, benefits, and payroll services across all county business operations.
Shared Services TeamThis team specializes in training, change management, and help desk support, along with system security, administration, and licensing. There is also a highly skilled and technical team of DBAs who manage day‑to‑day running and performance of the systems in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure as well as coordination of system updates and patches.

- Leadership Skills to independently lead as the technical expert and supervisor of the Oracle EBS development team. This includes providing direction and planning for development and integration activities in alignment with strategic goals, working with technical resources, analysts and customers across teams and organizations to troubleshoot and solve critical and complex business problems, system defects, and coordinating ongoing improvements to optimize the customer experience and capabilities and performance of the Oracle EBS system.
- Guide and coach staff on individual performance as well as grow and develop their skillsets.
- Participate in BRC strategic planning to prioritize work and strategic roadmap activities as we plan work to both satisfy our customer business needs and improve or adapt our services to changing technology.
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures, technical standards and technical documentation, ensuring compliance with Oracle EBS and King County Information Technology (KCIT) policies and procedures. Manage the schedule and quality for all development activities and the application of standards and development best practices throughout the software development life cycle.
