Vice President – Cloud Platform Product Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Product Definition – Own and drive the customer working backwards strategy, tenets, long-term goals and working backwards documents (press release, FAQ) for cloud platform products, incorporating customer feedback, competitive analysis, and business metrics to inform direction.
- Define Product Roadmap – Partner with engineering leadership and stakeholders to define the product's strategic vision and roadmap for cloud patterns, migration tools, and developer experience enhancements, including investment priorities, innovation, and experimentation.
- Champion Customer Experience – Drive a frictionless and intuitive cloud onboarding experience for developers, accelerating their transition to public cloud through ready-to-consume patterns and solutions.
- Execute Product Planning and Development – Define customer goals and business requirements for product releases, working with engineering teams to ensure implementation aligns with product vision, customer needs, and business objectives.
- Lead Product Launch – Own go-to-market delivery for new cloud patterns, services, and features, ensuring customer and business goals are met in operational launch plans.
- Define and Prioritize Features – Translate customer needs into actionable feature requests that align with the firm's business and engineering priorities, creating backlogs that support the product roadmap using Agile processes.
- Drive Operations and Continuous Improvement – Monitor and respond to customer feedback, track adoption metrics, and drive continuous improvement of cloud solutions based on user insights and business impact.
- Serve as Customer Advocate – Act as a key member of the customer advisory board to gather feedback on cloud onboarding goals, challenges, and feature requests from application development teams.
- Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with engineering teams, security, compliance, and other platform teams to balance customer needs with technical constraints and organizational requirements.
- Influence Senior Leadership – Communicate the product's vision, strategy, goals, status, and customer impact to engineering leadership and stakeholders across the firm, reporting on key wins, roadblocks, and migration progress.
- Define Success Metrics – Establish value-driven business cases for new products and KPIs to track success, adoption, and customer satisfaction.
- Guide Technical Tradeoffs – Help engineering teams make prioritization decisions based on customer requirements, business value, and strategic objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 7+ years of previous work experience as a Product Manager, preferably in a technical product management role focused on cloud platforms, infrastructure, or developer tools.
- Strong understanding of cloud concepts and services (preferably AWS), with the ability to engage in technical conversations with engineering teams and understand technical tradeoffs.
- Demonstrated success collaborating with design and engineering peers to lead product development teams without requiring hands‑on technical implementation.
