- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role
- 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, 0 to 1, etc.).
- 1 year of experience with one or more of the following: generative AI, large language modeling, reinforcement learning (e.g., sequential decision making), recommendation systems, or specialization in another ML field.
- Experience developing or launching products or technologies within artificial intelligence or machine learning (AI/ML).
- Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
- 2 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., marketing, business operations, consulting).
- 2 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
- 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
- 1 year of experience in software development or engineering.
- Knowledge or interest in building accessibility best practices with experience incorporating accessibility into product development methodologies.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down problems into steps that drive product development.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
In this role, you will contribute to Chrome's mission of becoming a trusted AI partner for the web by building high-quality, reliable, and low-latency models that power safe and secure AI features in Chrome. You will specialize in model tuning, context engineering, and architecture to deliver a positive web-optimized AI experience.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities- Define and lead a clear product idea and roadmap for how Chrome uses context to power AI features.
- Drive modeling and quality for scenarios that involve page and context understanding, from suggestions to resolving user ambiguity.
- Develop product requirements by synthesizing user feedback, log analysis, and AI model performance metrics.
- Lead and influence cross-functional teams (e.g., Engineering, Research, UX, Legal, etc.) to design, implement, and launch innovative features.
- Own the creation of specialized datasets to evaluate the quality and safety of contextual features.
