Senior Network Engineer

A confidential, multi‑site enterprise organization is seeking a Senior Network Engineer (SD‑WAN Focus) to support and modernize its network infrastructure across dozens of locations nationwide
. This role will take a lead position in the evaluation, design, and deployment of a next‑generation SD‑WAN solution, while also supporting core network operations including firewall administration, network access control (NAC), monitoring/alerting improvements, and routing/resiliency initiatives.

• Lead SD‑WAN evaluation, design, and deployment across a multi‑location enterprise network
• Provide operational support for Fortinet firewalls, including patching, firmware upgrades, failover testing, and troubleshooting
• Partner with the cybersecurity team to support network security policy enforcement and best practices
• Administer and optimize Aruba Clear Pass (NAC), including tuning, troubleshooting, and improvement projects
• Enhance network monitoring and alerting capabilities to proactively detect outages and performance issues
• Support routing and resiliency improvements using BGP and OSPF
• Improve traffic visibility using Net Flow and/or other traffic monitoring tools to strengthen security posture
• Support Azure networking in a hybrid environment as needed
• Participate in ongoing network improvements and infrastructure refresh initiatives
• Document network configurations, deployment plans, and operational procedures

• 7+ years of enterprise network engineering experience
• Hands‑on SD‑WAN design and deployment experience (required)
• Experience supporting multi‑site enterprise networks
• Strong experience with:
  • HPE/Aruba switching and wireless
  • Fortinet firewalls
  • Aruba Clear Pass / NAC
  • Network monitoring tools (Solar Winds or similar)
  • Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams

• Azure networking experience (vNets, VPNs, NSGs, DNS, load balancers)
• Knowledge of Zero Trust principles, segmentation, and modern security practices
• Experience with traffic visibility solutions (Net Flow, dependency mapping, micro‑segmentation)

• Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite in Seattle, WA
• Light, planned travel may be required during early SD‑WAN rollout
• Stable environment focused on long‑term modernization and service improvements
