Overview
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that keep customers continuously connected to the cloud. We tackle complex supply‑chain challenges and are looking for talented engineers and supply‑chain specialists to help us deliver the highest standards for safety, security, and scalability at the lowest possible cost.
Key Job Responsibilities- Develop and implement PCBA supply‐sourcing strategies for AWS hardware infrastructure.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for AWS hardware infrastructure.
- Understand industry and technology trends and identify key technology trends to drive supplier product roadmaps.
- Negotiate and implement complex supplier agreements and contracts with cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Develop negotiation strategies to deliver against business objectives and build sustainable supplier relationships.
- Provide weekly core‑team updates, monthly executive‑level updates, and manage vendor escalations related to this category.
- Present findings to senior leadership via written narratives.
- 5+ years of developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
- 5+ years of professional or military experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
- Experience managing programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements.
