Location: Seattle Hybrid schedule preferred, Can consider primarily remote for candidates within WA State but some onsite may be required

Rate Range: $55-75/hr, DOE and location

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain server, network, and storage systems with high availability and reliability.
• Lead infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
• Oversee deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and support of all IT infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans with regular testing.
• Provide technical mentorship and leadership to IT team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in collaboration with teams and vendors.
• Optimize system performance and strategically plan infrastructure upgrades.
• Ensure adherence to security protocols, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
• Document system configurations, architecture, and operational procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in systems engineering and IT infrastructure.
• Proficiency in managing Windows servers, virtualization (VMware, AHV, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Advanced knowledge of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Strong understanding of storage solutions (SAN/NAS), disaster recovery, and backup technologies.
• Experience with scripting and automation tools like Power Shell, Bash, or Python.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNA/CCNP, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator) preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
