AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We keep the cloud running and support all AWS data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment to ensure continual access to innovation. You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate across AWS to deliver high safety and security standards while providing scalable capacity at low cost, and you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.

The Global Network Deployment (GND) organization is responsible for cabling infrastructure, network hardware deployment, and program management across AWS data centers worldwide.

• Manage day to day operational processes for cable ordering.
• Work with stakeholders including supply chain, operations, engineering, and suppliers to drive supply profiles and support on-time material availability.
• Analyze business and technology trends to identify process improvement opportunities, reduce costs, and minimize risks for AWS and its customers.
• Manage material inventories for AWS data centers.
• Evaluate and monitor performance of suppliers.
• Lead cross-functional meetings with clear documentation, agenda creation, note capture, and follow-up activity coordination.
• Serve as an escalation point for teams to remediate supplier/material risks.

As a Sourcing Manager, you will play a crucial role in the procurement of goods and services in support of AWS data centers. You will work with teams across networking, design engineering, and data center delivery to understand project requirements and translate that into material needs to drive on-time delivery for our customers.

• 5+ years of procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration, or operations experience
• 5+ years of strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis experience
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field
• Experience in procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration, or operations
• Experience in strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python
• Experience in global supply chain management, managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics product company

• 4+ years of program, project, product management, or leading a product implementation process experience
• Experience in program, project, product management, or leading a product implementation process
• Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and RSUs. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
