We support the design, deployment, and operations of a large‑scale global Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), focusing on network fabric and systems, with programming skills to manage hundreds of thousands of network devices across a mix of dedicated backbone infrastructure, Cloud Network and the Internet.

• Collaborate with program and project managers to develop milestones and deliverables.
• Use existing procedures and tools to develop and safely execute network changes, occasionally creating new procedures.
• Develop solutions to enable front‑line support teams to act on network failure conditions.
• Mentor junior engineers.
• Participate in network solution and architecture design processes and contribute to roadmap development.
• Participate in operational rotations as primary or secondary.
• Provide break‑fix support for events, serve as escalation point, and lead post‑event root cause analysis.
• Frequently develop scripts to automate routine tasks for the team and business units.
• Coordinate with networking automation services for development and integration of support tooling.
• Coordinate with network monitoring to gather telemetry and create alert rules.
• Build dashboards to represent data at various network layers and device roles that help identify issues and anomalies.
• Serve as SME on software development projects for network automation and monitoring.
• Collaborate with vendor technical account teams and internal QA to drive bug resolution and support firmware/OS qualification.

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field with 5+ years of Network Engineering experience, or a master’s with 3+ years.
• Experience in a large ISP or cloud provider environment; RDMA networking experience is a plus.
• Experience in a network operations role.
• Strong knowledge of MPLS, BGP/OSPF/IS‑IS, TCP, IPv4, IPv6, DNS, DHCP;
  VxLAN and EVPN are advantageous.
• Extensive scripting/automation experience;
  Python preferred, but expertise in scripting or compiled languages is required.
• Experience with TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP, SSL.
• Experience with network monitoring and telemetry solutions.
• Experience with network modeling and programming – YANG, Open Config, NETCONF.
• Ability to use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues creatively and effectively; works with limited supervision.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Excellent judgment influencing product roadmap, features, and priorities.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation.

Hiring range in USD from $87,000 – $178,100 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
