• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
• Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

• Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization.
• 2 years of experience leading design projects.
• Deep knowledge of interaction design, visual design and information architecture.
• Ability to communicate and prototype interactions at various levels of fidelity, including proficiency in leveraging nascent AI technology to vibe code, rapidly translating design intent into functional front-end components and high-fidelity interactive sandboxes.

The Communication Ads (CAT) team helps users around the world connect with businesses seamlessly on Search. We are redefining how users get in touch with advertisers, whether by calling, sending a message, or submitting a lead form. Through bold, continuous experimentation, we help define the future of Search by expanding the boundaries of what users and advertisers can accomplish with Google Ads.

We are a user‑centric team of designers, researchers and storytellers. We manage problems together but own them individually, working closely with our Product, Engineering, and Research partners. We believe in a collaborative working style with a bias toward rapid exploration and experimentation, guided by a strong curiosity for our customers and their needs.
