The Network Engineer is a key member of Trident’s IT Infrastructure team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the integrity and performance of Trident’s global network environment. This includes all LAN/WAN networks, servers, and storage systems across domestic and international locations.
Essential Functions- Design, configure, install, and maintain core network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and cabling.
- Define, document, and enforce network system standards and best practices.
- Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date network diagrams.
- Research and recommend improvements to enhance network reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Support and administer Windows servers, hardware, and related applications.
- Monitor and maximize network performance by troubleshooting outages, diagnosing issues, and responding to alerts rapidly.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and work independently when required.
- Participate in periodic disaster recovery exercises and annual audits of network components.
- Work onsite regularly to build strong team collaboration and support operational needs.
- Consult with the IT Infrastructure Manager and other IT stakeholders to support strategic initiatives.
- Regularly work onsite to build strong team connections, collaborate across functions, and solve problems in real time.

This is a salaried exempt position with an annualized salary range of $110,000 to $130,000.

- Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation.
- Travel to Trident locations in Alaska, Washington, Georgia, and other regions as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of six (6) years of experience in network administration.
- Experience installing and supporting enterprise wireless solutions (Meraki preferred).
- Hands‑on experience configuring Cisco (IOS‑XE and NX‑OS), Extreme Networks (EX‑OS), and Ubiquiti switches.
- Strong experience with Windows Server technologies (Failover Clustering, S2D, AD, IIS, RDS, NPS, DHCP, etc.).
