Role Summary
We are looking for a transformational leader to build and lead Global Growth Systems—an organization responsible for reimagining how customer growth happens at scale across Salesforce.
This role is not a traditional marketing position. It is a systems, intelligence, and business‑transformation role focused on acquiring, engaging, converting, and nurturing customer relationships globally.
What You’ll Own- Define and lead the vision and operating strategy for Global Growth Systems across Salesforce
- Build Salesforce's next‑generation intelligent growth engine spanning digital engagement, lifecycle orchestration, AI, automation, experimentation, and customer intelligence
- Transition marketing from static, campaign‑based execution to an adaptive, always‑on growth system
- Architect unified customer engagement systems across paid, owned, web, lifecycle, SEO/SEM, social, and emerging AI‑driven channels
- Design intelligent decisioning systems that continuously optimize acquisition, conversion, retention, and expansion in real time
- Lead the adoption and integration of AI, automation, and agentic technologies across the global marketing ecosystem
- Partner deeply with Product & Engineering to build scalable growth infrastructure, customer experiences, experimentation systems, and AI‑powered workflows
- Create an operational culture grounded in experimentation, speed, accountability, data, and measurable business outcomes
- Drive organizational transformation, capability building, and operating model evolution across people, process, and technology
- Build and lead a world‑class global organization spanning growth, marketing technology, AI, analytics, automation, and digital strategy
- Establish Salesforce as an industry leader in AI‑powered enterprise growth systems
- Proven builder and operator with deep accountability for business outcomes
- Experience leading large‑scale digital growth, performance marketing, lifecycle, growth platform, or marketing systems organizations at global scale
- Strong systems thinker able to connect customer behavior, data, technology, AI, and execution into scalable operating models
- Deep expertise across AI, automation, experimentation, analytics, Mar Tech, lifecycle engagement, and digital ecosystem design
- Track record of transforming legacy operating models into modern, high‑velocity growth organizations
- Ability to build strong trust and operational partnership across Product & Engineering, Sales, Data Science, and Marketing
- Strong understanding of customer acquisition economics, conversion systems, engagement signals, and full‑funnel optimization
- Experience designing and operating real‑time decisioning and experimentation systems
- Strong organizational leadership capabilities with experience scaling high‑performing global teams through transformation
- High curiosity and conviction around how AI and agentic systems will reshape enterprise growth
- Executive presence and communication skills with ability to influence at the highest levels of the company
- Comfortable operating in highly dynamic, cross‑functional, and ambiguous environments

In the United States, compensation will be determined by location, job level, knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits. Salesforce offers a variety of benefits to help you live well, including time off programs, medical, dental, vision, mental health support, paid parental leave, life and disability insurance, 401(k), and an employee stock purchasing program.
The typical base salary range for this position is $373,000–$465,000 annually; in select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan areas the range is the same.
