We have an exciting opportunity for a Program Director to play a crucial role in our product and program development. In this dynamic position, you will oversee essential phases such as design specifications, vendor research, conceptualization, and program delivery, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful completion of strategic initiatives.
Your Role Includes- Working closely with IT and business teams throughout project life cycles, while coaching and mentoring team members.
- Crafting program strategies and designs, securing approval from stakeholders, and developing comprehensive project plans to ensure successful execution.
- Creating, defining, and managing project schedules, budgets, and deliverables while utilizing project management tools to facilitate project success.
- Providing end-user training as needed, ensuring the completion of technical and user documentation, and managing project costs, including vendor billing audits.
- Identifying and managing overlapping project requirements to ensure smooth execution.
- Leading program teams and facilitating communications between functional representatives.
- Overseeing vendor selection processes, including RFPs, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring accountability for deliverables.
- Managing cross-departmental projects with clear communication across all organizational levels, including executives.
- Collaborating effectively with resource managers to secure project resources, defining roles, monitoring progress, and interfacing with internal clients.
- Balancing resource allocation across multiple teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Embodying PEMCO's values, policies, and conduct guidelines to foster a positive work environment.
- Supporting the PEMCO brand and actively seeking top talent to join our mission of encouraging people to 'Worry Less and Live More.'
- Taking on additional responsibilities as necessary.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- A minimum of 6 years' experience in IT or business roles, along with demonstrated leadership in project management.
- A solid understanding of relevant technologies utilized in the IT unit.
- The ability to excel in a fast-paced, complex environment with minimal documentation.
- A collaborative spirit, thriving through daily interactions with developers, BAs, and QAs.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access. - Industry Insight: A thorough understanding of the insurance landscape, including trends and indicators of change.

Expertise in analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving complex challenges effectively. - Analytical Orientation: The ability to think structurally and use data for strategic analysis and metrics development.

Compensation- Target range for the Greater Seattle area: $154,845-$189,255 with a full range of $129,038-$215,063.
- Target range outside Greater Seattle: $136,654-$167,022 with a full range of $113,879-$189,797.
