Data Analyst

Position Description

Ardent is seeking a Performance/Data Analyst to support data analysis, reporting, and operational performance initiatives within DOJ environments. This on‑site position is located in Washington, DC
.

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and operational insights.
• Develop dashboards, visualizations, and reporting solutions using Tableau or equivalent tools.
• Support data analysis efforts related to law enforcement, operational, or statistical datasets.
• Perform data cleansing, validation, and transformation activities to support analytics initiatives.
• Utilize tools such as Excel, Python, and R to conduct analysis and reporting activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support performance measurement and operational reporting requirements.
• Support preparation of reports, briefings, and data‑driven recommendations for leadership.
• Assist with maintaining data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting efforts.
• Support analytical initiatives across both operational and strategic projects.
• Ensure compliance with DOJ security and data handling requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analytics, data science, or performance analysis roles.
• Proficiency with Excel, Python, R, and Tableau or equivalent analytics and visualization platforms.
• Experience working with large datasets and data analysis methodologies.
• Experience supporting law enforcement, government, or large statistical datasets.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain eligibility for Top Secret clearance for select projects, if required.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Will be required to undergo the government‑issued background investigation process.

• Experience supporting DOJ, law enforcement, intelligence community, or federal environments.
• Experience developing executive‑level dashboards and operational reporting solutions.
• Familiarity with data visualization, predictive analytics, or statistical modeling techniques.
• Experience working with sensitive or classified information environments.
• Familiarity with data governance and secure data handling procedures.
