Our Seattle based Digital Workplace partner is looking for an experienced and influential Mid or Senior UX Researcher to help create great employee experiences at work and push our solutions to a new level. We are a group of user-centered designers and researchers that is expanding quickly, which means you will have the opportunity to make an impact not just on the product, but on how the organization works.
Job Duties- Plan, lead, and socialize research studies to help drive employee experiences with our technology.
- Partner closely with designers, developers, product managers, business partners, and senior leadership to conduct end-to-end product research studies that enable teams to make informed decisions by creating a 3‑month research roadmap.
- Own the development of research insights for a scrum product team, influencing the way our product organization designs for store employees.
- Apply expertise in qualitative and quantitative methods to choose appropriate research approaches.
- Leverage experience in content management research or content comprehension and page layouts.
- Design, lead, and facilitate end-to-end research studies for product teams and business stakeholders.
- Create tools and assets from insights for designers, product managers, and stakeholders (frameworks, use cases, design recommendations).
- Present findings regularly to leadership, linking research to business outcomes and quantified business value.
- Frame key research questions, develop plans, conduct studies, and synthesize findings into actionable insights.
- Evaluate user feedback to identify research needs.
- Craft compelling presentations to evangelize insights across the company, tailoring for different audiences.
- 5+ years corporate UX research experience.
- 5+ years embedded scrum team experience or a demonstrated iterative approach.
- Experience with tools such as Optimal Workshop, Figma, Qualtrics.
- Strong understanding of wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, site maps and proficiency with visual tools including Figma, Sketch, InVision, DSM, Zeppelin, Adobe XD, and other creative suites.
- Ability to design and conduct usability studies, identify solution options, and structure experiments that elicit viable solutions.
- Strong experience with qualitative methods (in‑depth interviews, concept & usability testing, card sorting, co‑design) and quantitative methods (surveys).
- A solid grasp of user‑centered design, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability, and accessibility concerns.
- Experience with card sorting and tree tests, including evaluative and usability testing.
- Prior experience creating research roadmaps.
- Experience supporting content management research or content comprehension and page layouts.
- Excellent communication skills, collaborative spirit, and openness to feedback.
- Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work efficiently and effectively with cross‑functional teams under tight timelines.
- Natural leadership ability, strong networking, and advocacy for partners.
- Experience managing communication with users and stakeholders.
- Experience researching across multiple product features.
- Portfolio demonstrating expertise and ability to articulate research process.
- UI/UX and Web/GUI design skills.
- Ability to work with a dedicated strategist.
