Amentum is seeking an Enterprise Operations Manager for a large-scale contract operated in the Washington, DC metro area to consolidate and modernize IT, cybersecurity, and network services across all 50 states and territories. The NOC Network Engineer and Enterprise Operations Manager shall provide subject matter expertise in network administration, network support, management, switching, and routing to ensure smooth functioning of the network for business needs.
Responsibilities- Operate, maintain, and configure all network engineering assigned hardware and software associated with classified and unclassified network infrastructures including routers, switches, firewalls, and other technological infrastructure.
- Accomplish cybersecurity related tasks/requirements.
- Maintain 100% network device compliance.
- Configure and maintain network management platforms and monitor data on the network to provide troubleshooting & daily review of audits/logs.
- Prepare and submit status reports, technical reports, procedures (operational and maintenance) to management and customers.
- Track and ensure status reporting on day-to-day and project level activities.
- Participate in the Organization’s Configuration Management Plan for all hardware and software relevant to customer networks, including preparation for System Change Requests (SCR) as required for applicable supported devices.
- Interface and coordinate with Management, team members, and the customer to assure mutual awareness of network development, security posture, compliance/non‑compliance, and overall system status.
- Document work performed and maintain network engineering documentation related to inventory, topology, design, test plans, projects, and implementation planning.
- Perform other duties as required.
- A minimum of five years of experience managing a global WAN.
- Possess any active Cisco‑Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE) certification.
- Possess the appropriate certifications to achieve DoDM 8140.03 qualification requirements for the DCWF work role 441 at the advanced level.
- Active TOP SECRET US Government Clearance.
Note:
US Citizenship is required to maintain a TOP SECRET Clearance.
- A minimum of ten years of relevant IT experience including a minimum of five years of Network Engineering and Operations Enterprise experience.
- Possess an active Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE) certification with a focus in Enterprise Infrastructure.
- Possess an ITIL 4 Foundation certification with the Managing Professional Framework or higher.
Work Environment:
This position is performed in a traditional office environment.

The salary range is $175k-$204K (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and the abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). The position includes a competitive benefits package.
