Our team owns the model that selects the offer and displays the price and the "Add to Cart" button that informs purchase decisions. We display offers billions of times daily across all Amazon platforms worldwide.

We build scalable and extensible frameworks that allow many teams to innovate within the Offers Experience federated manner.
This role works closely with business stakeholders across Amazon, providing technical direction and data‑driven business strategy. The senior economist uses data to justify customer‑friendly decisions, presents financial impact to stakeholders, and collaborates with economists, engineers, product managers, TPMs, managers, and senior leadership.
Basic Qualifications- PhD in economics or equivalent
- Experience in analytics and applied economics
- Experience in developing and executing an analytic vision to solve business‑relevant problems
- Experience building statistical models using R, Python, STATA, or related software
- Experience in industry, consulting, government, or academic research

Salary: – USD annually (USA, WA, Seattle). Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
