As part of the Security Assurance Services team, you will join a diverse group of technical specialists who help customers secure their workloads and drive business outcomes with scalable, automated security solutions.
In this role you will help our largest enterprise customers ope rationalise the shared responsibility model while migrating to AWS. You will be a Governance, Risk, and Compliance leader, translating regulatory and risk requirements into scalable, cloud‑native solutions, and communicating with executives and technical teams at all levels.
Key Job Responsibilities- Lead teams that include Amazonians, partners, and customers to enhance security assurance and compliance programs.
- Define innovative compliance and risk‑management approaches to help customers move sensitive workloads onto the cloud.
- Engage with customers to resolve security assurance questions, manage risk and achieve compliance through deep‑dive discussions, strategic presentations, and hands‑on demonstrations of automated compliance in AWS.
- Collaborate with AWS engineering, support, and business teams to convey partner and customer feedback as input to technology roadmaps.
- Travel to customer sites as needed.
AWS Security Assurance Services LLC is a PCI‑QSAC and HITRUST External Assessor Firm. We help customers achieve, maintain, and automate compliance in the cloud by mapping audit standards to AWS services and features.
Basic Qualifications- 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
- Knowledge of SAP systems (e.g. SAP Business Suite, S/4
HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects) and their architecture and infrastructure needs. - Experience working with end‑user or developer communities.
- Experience managing relationships with SAP customers and partners.
- Experience with SAP S/4
HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Cloud ERP and Cloud ERP Private. - Experience in SAP clean‑core design concepts, including design and build using non‑SAP technologies in domains such as Generative / Agentic AI and data & analytics.

Compensation includes a base salary of $169,000–$228,600 for the New York City market, $145,900–$197,400 for Nashville, $153,600–$207,800 for Austin, Dallas, Houston, Herndon, and Seattle, based on experience, qualifications, and location, plus sign‑on payments and RSUs.
