About Twitch

Twitch is the world’s biggest live streaming service, with global communities built around gaming, entertainment, music, sports, cooking, and more. It is where thousands of communities come together for whatever, every day. We’re about community, inside and out. You’ll find coworkers who are eager to team up, collaborate, and solve problems together. We’re on a quest to empower live communities.

About the Role

As the Senior Program Manager, Accessibility at Twitch, you will own, oversee, and conduct the end-to-end delivery of the Accessibility Program and services, including QA, education and training, scalable operations, and hands‑on management. You will be the subject‑matter expert on digital accessibility and will execute accessibility processes with Design, Product, and Engineering functions, proactive reporting and communications, implementation of tools and AI integration, while continuously working with our design system and product development process.

You will mentor and support others in executing the vision of how Twitch will be a welcoming home for all, partnering with product, engineering, legal, partnerships, and everyone from executive staff to individual contributors.

Responsibilities
  • Support global digital accessibility initiatives as the subject‑matter expert and technical support for accessibility in product and throughout Twitch.
  • Manage intake, backlog, and operational tasks with engineering, product, and design leaders to address core accessibility issues, including communications and reporting.
  • Conduct QA and lead, support, and manage QA specialists.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and researchers to identify and create high‑impact changes and programs across all of our products, and support proactive backlog management.
  • Lead process and tooling integration, including AI where appropriate.
  • Partner with engineers to build and integrate automated accessibility testing into CI/CD pipelines, shifting accessibility testing earlier in the development lifecycle.
  • Work with other accessibility partners (legal, research, policy, communications) on benchmarking, goal setting, reporting, and execution, and provide consultative support.
  • Develop an educational program and deploy guidelines/resources for key collaborators.
Benefits
  • Medical, Dental, Vision & Disability Insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Maternity & Parental Leave
  • Flexible PTO
  • Amazon Employee Discount
Basic Qualifications
  • 6+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems.
  • Experience building and effectively executing a strategy from the ground up, including designing roadmaps to drive incremental progress toward a long‑term vision and goals.
  • Expertise in accessibility best practices, guidelines, and regulations—specifically WCAG 2.2+ AA and the CVAA; ability to advise the executive team on risk assessment.
  • Experience working with and consulting product, design, engineering, and legal teams to deliver accessibility audits, code reviews, and other advisory services.
  • Experience working on consumer product accessibility across video and communications products and across a variety of devices (desktop, smartphone, gaming console, OTT services).
  • Awareness of assistive technologies available to people with disabilities.
  • Experience with Figma, Jira, and similar relevant product development tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of and familiarity with AI tooling and test automations for Accessibility.
  • Familiarity with Twitch as a user, streamer, or both.
