Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Principal Product Manager to join our Cloud Front team based in Seattle, WA. We are the product team behind the Amazon Cloud Front and AWS Global Accelerator services that provide massive scale, security and performance to the world's largest media content providers, gaming studios, and social applications.

Key job responsibilities
  • Understand technology and user trends in Media to identify forward looking strategies to drive business growth
  • Engage directly with customers to understand their needs and learn what we can build to enable and delight our customers
  • Evaluate industry innovations and technology platforms and identify partnership and collaboration opportunities
  • Work collaboratively across organizations as an advocate for the customer needs
  • Author documents relating to product life cycle including product roadmap, business requirements, and functional specifications
  • Prototype new features and experiences
  • Drive product development across teams (primarily Engineering, Operations, Product Management, Business Development, and Marketing) through business requirements, design, implementation, and deployment
  • Define pricing, positioning, and go‑to‑market strategies to drive product growth.

The Team

We are a core part of the AWS Network Services organization with team members in Seattle, San Jose, London, Dublin, Australia and Vancouver. Together we work as one team across services that provide network connectivity and security from the internet to AWS, within AWS, and across multiple Clouds or customer data centers. This includes Amazon Cloud Front, Amazon Global Accelerator, AWS WAF, AWS Shield, Route
53, Elastic Load Balancers, VPC, Cloud Interconnect, and network Gateways. Our shared mission is to make the network invisible by making connectivity seamless. We connect our customer applications with their end users, AI tools, and adjacent services without needing deep knowledge of networking. Our team is dedicated to supporting new members. Basic Qualifications
  • 7+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience
  • 5+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
  • 7+ years of product management in the cloud computing technology space experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience delivering large‑scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)
