Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable platform architecture meeting enterprise compliance and performance standards
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Posit Workbench, Posit Connect, and Posit Package Manager on Linux servers
- Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, patching, and server remediation
- Manage users, roles, sessions, and provide hands‑on user support (package installs, environment setup, troubleshooting)
- Implement and maintain R & Python package management strategies using Posit Package Manager
- Configure authentication and security (LDAP, SAML, SSL/TLS, PAM)
- Maintain platform documentation and support training for admins and users
- Work with internal enterprise processes (WSSO, DSN, Insight, MARS, Certificates, IaaS)
- Strong Linux administration (Ubuntu/Red Hat, CLI, processes, file system, configs)
- Advanced experience with Posit products (Workbench, Connect, Package Manager)
- Working knowledge of R and Python ecosystems and package management
- Networking & security fundamentals (firewalls, SSL/TLS, auth protocols)
- Postgre
SQL or similar databases for metadata storage - Docker/Kubernetes experience (optional)
