Customer Solutions Manager, Small and Medium Business (Scale CSM)

AWS Global Sales drives adoption of the AWS cloud worldwide, enabling customers of all sizes to innovate and expand. The Small and Medium Business (SMB) team in US-West works to deeply understand SMB customers’ challenges, then crafts innovative solutions that accelerate their success. As a Customer Solutions Manager (CSM), you will help SMB customers realize sustained business value by accelerating their digital transformation journey, designing and executing strategic migrations to the AWS cloud, and building modern, cloud‑native solutions.

• Demonstrate excellent customer engagement skills through all levels of an organization, including C‑Suite.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of existing and emerging cloud technologies to unlock opportunities for customers.
• Apply change‑management best practices to seamlessly integrate organizational change into project delivery.
• Accelerate customer adoption through education and engagement.
• Assist customers in identifying priority use cases for AWS and best‑practice implementations.
• Help develop long‑term strategic relationships with key accounts.
• Manage time efficiently, meet personal goals, and collaborate effectively with the sales and marketing team.

• 5+ years of leading large‑scale technical or engineering programs with a proven record of thought leadership, business‑case development, real‑world benefits, and successful program completion.
• 3+ years of experience in enterprise IT, either as a vendor, consultant, or in managing technical programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, or a related field.

• AWS or other cloud certification.
• Knowledge of the software or engineering lifecycle from conception to delivery.
• Experience coordinating between project teams and customers to meet unique customer requirements.
• Certifications in PMP, SCRUM, Agile, or SAFe.
