Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional desktop services support, ensuring all technology hardware/software is handled according to policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with King County Rail Administrators, serving as a liaison for Sound Transit Desktop Services.
- Manage laptop deployment and retrieval to support IT Asset Management and Desktop Services teams.
- Support KC Rail and Sound Transit personnel in delivering and setting up peripherals.
- Participate in KC Rail New Employee Onboarding to set up new users with IT equipment.
- Maintain effective relationships with KCRail employees and administrators to ensure workload balance.
- Create and maintain Desktop Services documentation, including knowledge articles and process workflows.
- Resolve support ticket queues within Service Now and analyze trends for corrective actions.
- Provide telecommunications support, including management of iPhone and Android cell phones, desktop phones, and Teams conference room support.
- High School Diploma/GED supplemented by Technical School/College coursework in information technology or a related field.
- Three years of experience in end-user support in an enterprise environment, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and imaging/installation of desktop/laptop computer systems and/or network systems.
- Strong knowledge of customer service principles, advanced troubleshooting techniques, and ITIL best practices.
- Experience with Active Directory, SCCM, and Enterprise managed print services configuration and administration.
- Understanding of ITAM fundamentals and best practices.
- Experience with Windows 11 and MAC OS products, and network protocols, technologies, and VPN configurations.
- Knowledge of service desk tracking systems like Service Now or Remedy.
