Artera is seeking an experienced Revenue Accounting Manager to own end-to-end revenue recognition across our SaaS subscriptions, usage-based billing, and professional services — and to be the subject matter expert on ASC 606 as we scale.

This is also a frontier finance role. You ll partner with our AI Builder teams to put agentic AI to work inside the revenue function itself, automating invoicing, reconciliations, and rev-rec workflows that traditionally lived in spreadsheets. We re not looking for someone to "use AI on the side"; we re looking for someone who wants to redesign how revenue accounting is done.

• Revenue Recognition Ownership
  :
  Own the revenue recognition schedule across SaaS subscriptions, usage-based fees, and professional services, ensuring full ASC 606 compliance.
• Contract Analysis
  :
  Review customer contracts to determine treatment for multiple performance obligations, variable consideration, contract modifications, and renewals across complex arrangements (multi-product deals, pilots, expansions).
• Agentic AI in Finance
  :
  Design and implement agentic AI solutions to automate invoicing, reconciliations, and revenue recognition workflows — improving accuracy, scalability, and close speed.
• Billing & Deferred Revenue
  :
  Oversee Net Suite invoicing for recurring and usage-based billing; maintain and reconcile deferred revenue schedules and contract liabilities for multi-year agreements.
• Close & Reporting
  :
  Execute month-end close for revenue accounts, prepare reconciliations and journal entries, and deliver trend, cohort, and variance commentary for executive and board reporting.
• Cross-Functional Partnership
  :
  Serve as the technical accounting point of contact for Sales, Customer Success, Rev Ops, and FP&A; partner on SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, NDR, bookings-to-revenue).
• Policy & Controls
  :
  Develop ASC 606 policies and SOX-compliant documentation for revenue, billing, and order-to-cash; serve as primary liaison to external auditors on revenue matters.
• Systems & Automation
  :
  Collaborate with IT, Rev Ops, and Engineering on Net Suite enhancements, billing system integrations, and revenue recognition automation as Artera scales.

• Education
  :
  Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Accounting Tenure
  : 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience with substantial focus on revenue recognition in a SaaS, software, or technology environment.
