They revolutionize how millions discover products and engage with brands across  worldwide. This role falls within the Search Thematic Advertising Experiences team inside Sponsored Products. The team solves complex engineering, optimization, econometric, and UX problems to deliver relevant ads on search and detail pages. They pursue dual goals of enhancing shopper experiences while enabling monetization of online properties through ML, reinforcement learning, and causal inference.

As a Senior Applied Scientist, Sponsored Products at Amazon, you will act as the technical leader in machine learning and drive full life‑cycle projects. You will build models, conduct proofs‑of‑concept, run A/B experiments, optimize solutions, and deploy them to production. Additionally, you will lead efforts across teams, establish scalable processes for data analysis and model serving, and mentor scientists while researching new approaches.
