ResponsibilitiesAbout the team:
The User Growth team is building the next generation of membership and loyalty experiences for Tik Tok Shop. This includes subscription programs, benefit systems, and incentive mechanisms designed to increase user retention, frequency, and long-term value. We operate at the intersection of product, economics, and user perception to define scalable membership strategies globally and localize them for the US market.
- Design user-side subsidy strategies for Tik Tok E-commerce, covering core subsidy forms including coupons, price cuts, and limited-time subsidies. Design tiered subsidy strategies based on the user conversion funnel to balance GMV growth and subsidy ROI.
- Formulate differentiated subsidy plans for different product portfolios; continuously optimize subsidy thresholds, intensity, frequency and budget allocation for scenarios such as major sales campaigns, daily sales and new user acquisition.
- Collaborate with algorithm, data, product and merchant teams to drive the implementation of subsidy strategies and conduct performance review and analysis.
- 3+ years of working experience in e-commerce subsidy, pricing or promotion strategy.
- In-depth understanding of subsidy mechanisms such as coupons, price cuts and order rebates, as well as their impact on conversion rate and AOV.
- Strong business judgment capability, able to make strategic trade-offs under incomplete data conditions.
- Proficient in data analysis, capable of independently completing subsidy effectiveness evaluation including ROI, CVR and GMV uplift analysis.
- Long-term passion for e-commerce growth; able to work in a fast-paced and highly complex decision‑making environment.
- Experience in e-commerce is a plus.
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $176,320 - $296,020 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
