About

The Role

We are seeking an Information Governance Experienced Analyst to drive the execution and scaling of enterprise data governance practices across business domains. This role sits at the intersection of business, data, and technology, partnering with Data Owners, Data Stewards, business stakeholders, and IT to ensure business-critical data is consistently defined, governed, and usable across systems.

Responsibilities
  • Lead execution of governance work from intake through delivery within established governance frameworks and standards.
  • Apply governance standards by translating requirements into business‑aligned metadata.
  • Support discovery with stakeholders to document data creation and flows in alignment with governance approaches.
  • Document and maintain business glossary terms, CDEs, lineage, and trusted data product artifacts in Microsoft Purview.
  • Analyze and resolve data quality issues, perform data validation checks, and use Power BI to analyze datasets.
  • Facilitate governance sessions and working meetings, capturing decisions, risks, and actions.
  • Develop and deliver training, presentations, and enablement materials to improve data fluency.
  • Support identification and onboarding of trusted data products and promote usage.
  • Contribute to evolving governance processes, standards, templates, tooling, and identify opportunities to improve effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, data analysis or related roles.
  • Experience working across business and technical teams to define and govern data.
  • Strong understanding of data governance concepts, including business glossary, CDEs, lineage, and data quality.
  • Ability to translate governance concepts into practical, business‑aligned outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills (data flow analysis, quality assessment, issue identification).
  • Ability to create clear documentation, business rules, and governance materials.
  • Proficiency in Power BI (or similar) for data validation, analysis, and governance reporting.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations, applying sound judgment and escalating where needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with data structures, transformations, and integrations across systems.
  • Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Purview Unified Platform (or similar).
  • Experience in enterprise data environments (e.g., SAP).
  • Ability to apply governance concepts in business contexts; experience in supply chain or finance helpful but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect business needs with governance concepts and translate to outcomes.

What We Offer

Compensation:
Eligible for annual merit‑increase program; salary range $82,533–$123,800 based on experience. Annual Incentive Program with a cash bonus targeting 7% of base pay. Benefits include comprehensive employee benefits plan with medical, dental, vision, short and long‑term disability, life insurance; pre‑tax Health Savings Account with company contribution; other benefit options such as voluntary Long‑Term Care and Employee Assistance Programs. Paid time off: 3 weeks of paid vacation at first year, accrual after six months, eleven paid holidays, 88 holiday hours, paid parental leave for all full‑time employees.

401(k) plan with paid company match and annual contribution equal to 5% of base salary.
