Job Description
Oracle is seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to lead critical execution for the Data Center Software and Automation team, enabling the delivery of some of the world's largest AI centric data centers around the globe.
As a manager of the software engineering team, the candidate will apply their knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications, operating systems and databases.
We are looking for a leader who combines strong software delivery discipline with the ability to uphold OCI’s high operational bar in a fast-moving cloud infrastructure environment.
Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing software engineering team.
- Drive critical execution across cross-functional initiatives with clear ownership, accountability, and delivery discipline.
- Communicate program status, risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations clearly to senior and executive leadership.
- Build strong partnerships across engineering, product, infrastructure, operations, and global delivery teams.
- Translate complex technical and operational challenges into clear business impact, execution plans, and leadership decisions.
- Own delivery planning, roadmap execution, and prioritization across multiple programs in a fast-paced Agile and Dev Ops environment.
- Identify and remove organizational blockers that slow execution or create delivery risk.
- Partner with architects and senior engineers to ensure platform designs are scalable, reliable, secure, and operationally sound.
- Improve engineering processes, delivery predictability, operational rigor, and overall team effectiveness.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, urgency, ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement. Develop team members through coaching, feedback, career planning, and clear performance expectations.

Benefits & CompensationUS:
Hiring Range in USD from: $110,100 - $264,100 per year. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral. Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. - 11 paid holidays
