Technical Program Manager - HW Security, Devices and Services Security

Devices and Services Security, HW Sec team is responsible for ensuring devices such as Fire TV, Kindle, Ring, eero protect customer data and build customer trust. We define a security bar for different devices and ensure those devices meet the security bar before they are launched for customer use. You will help improve the builder journey through Secure Hardware Development Lifecycle and ensure security engineers are enabling business ship securely without adding friction for the business.
Your broad responsibilities will include engaging with various devices business, understanding their roadmap and enabling them to ship securely based on business needs. This role is inherently cross‑functional and requires a strong ability to influence others—you will work closely with teams across the devices business and devices security, including engineering, business leaders, and legal. You must be hands‑on, understand hardware security concepts, and be able to drive mitigations and risk acceptance.
We are looking for a critical thinker who is technically adept and thrives on solving challenges in partnership with teams across Amazon. You should be comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity and display a high level of bias for action, invent & simplify, learn & be curious, dive deep and ownership.
Basic Qualifications- 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams
- 3+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 2+ years of security‑related professional experience
- Strong understanding of hardware security concepts
- Strong knowledge of critical device components and how they interact with each other
- Basic understanding of secure boot, anti‑rollback mechanisms, fault injection techniques
- Basic understanding of crypto, public, private key pair, symmetric, asymmetric encryption, side channel attacks
- Hands‑on AI usage experience including creating new agents to automate tasks

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
