Bulk Milk Transportation​/Supply Chain Analyst

Darigold is seeking an experienced and motivated Bulk Milk Transportation/Supply Chain Analyst to join our team. The role supports Darigold's Bulk Fluid Transportation team through data and financial analysis. In this role, you will own the development of data models, dashboards, reporting and decision support tools for a team of transportation planners and team leadership. The ideal candidate is adept at breaking down complexity, delivering actionable insights and driving process improvements across the team.

This role combines technical data skills with business acumen to build reporting infrastructure, optimize hauling and carrier costs and communicate findings to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Darigold's Bulk Fluid Transportation team manages the movement of raw milk across the Pacific Northwest, coordinating carrier networks, route planning and transportation economics for one of the largest dairy cooperatives in the U.S. We are actively building out our analytical capabilities - developing cost models, performance dashboards and decision support tools that directly shape how we plan, negotiate and operate. This role is central to that effort.

What You Will Do:

* Design and implement data management, reporting and analysis dashboards and decision support tools using Power BI, SQL, Python or similar platforms.

* Develop and maintain transportation cost analysis and reporting - including lane-level cost modeling, carrier rate analysis and fleet performance metrics - to support transportation planning and carrier management decisions.

* Build and maintain Power BI semantic models and reports that serve as the team's primary analytical infrastructure.

* Identify, lead and execute process improvement and automation initiatives that increase efficiency and reduce manual effort across team workflows.

* Lead small-scale projects independently and participate as a subject matter expert on cross-functional project teams.

* Effectively communicate the results of analyses and recommendations to a wide range of stakeholders, translating complex data into clear, compelling narratives.

* Perform financial analysis of carrier proposals and dedicated hauling arrangements, modeling complex route-level calculations to support fleet, third-party, and dedicated carrier conversion decisions.

* Develop and deliver KPI reporting and scorecards to track carrier performance, SLA compliance, and on-time delivery, and partner with planners and carriers to drive corrective actions.

What You Will Bring:

* Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Business or equivalent work experience.

* 2-5 years of experience in an analytics, supply chain or operations role.

* Demonstrated success developing and deploying Power BI semantic models and reports.

* Strong working knowledge of SQL, Power Query and Dataflows for querying, cleaning and transforming data.

* Demonstrated success applying critical thinking skills to analyze and resolve complex problems.

* Strong communication skills with an emphasis on explaining technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

* Skilled in Microsoft Office, including an expert-level proficiency with Excel.

* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

* Ability to travel on occasion (less than 5%, regional within the Darigold Pacific Northwest footprint).
