Senior Marketing Manager, Amazon on AWS

We are looking for a tech‑savvy storyteller to lead technical storytelling for Amazon on AWS, translating how Amazon uses AWS into compelling narratives that inspire customers and partners.
Key Responsibilities- Develop compelling stories that translate complex technical implementations into clear business value propositions.
- Collaborate with AWS Marketing Integrated Demand Plans teams (AI, Data, Modernization, Security, Connect) to deliver stories aligned with their priorities.
- Deliver content at flagship events such as NAB, Cannes, AWS Summits, re:
Invent through keynote presentations, sessions, and activations. - Partner with the Amazon on AWS v‑team to build alignment mechanisms on approach, execution, and key messages.
- Drive awareness and preference for AWS, generating influenced opportunities and pipeline across EBCs, events, digital, and field channels.
- Facilitate reviews with Senior Leadership and stakeholders on strategic initiatives and content direction.
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) drives revenue, adoption, and growth for enterprise‑level customers and the public sector. The AWS Global Support team partners with leading companies to build mission‑critical applications on AWS.
Basic Qualifications- 6+ years of experience in marketing, product marketing, or technical marketing roles.
- Experience in project management: resource planning, scheduling, status reporting, and prioritization for multiple projects.
- Cross‑functional collaboration across technical and non‑technical teams.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling business narratives.
- Knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture concepts.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing.
- Experience in B2B technology marketing, particularly cloud computing or enterprise software.
- Experience with retail, logistics, or supply chain industries.
- Track record of developing successful customer reference programs.
- Experience managing content for large‑scale industry events.
- Familiarity with content management systems and digital asset management tools.
Base salary range: $118,200 – $160,000 USD annually (Seattle, WA). Compensation includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs) and is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. AWS also offers comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
