AWS Solutions Architects help educate our customers on how to craft highly scalable, flexible, resilient, secure and cost‑effective cloud architectures. As a trusted customer advocate, they help organizations understand advanced cloud‑based solutions and migrate existing workloads to the cloud.

• Partner with the sales team to formulate and execute a sales strategy that exceeds revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS.
• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
• Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to become cloud advocates.
• Conduct one‑to‑few and one‑to‑many training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS.
• Capture and share best‑practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community.
• Serve as a key member of the business development and sales team, ensuring success in building and migrating applications, software and services on the AWS platform.
• Author or otherwise contribute to AWS customer‑facing publications such as whitepapers.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers and product teams to help evolve the AWS platform.
• Travel domestically up to 25% as required by location.

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructure experience.
• 4+ years of experience in a specific technology domain area such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.

• Experience working within software development or Internet‑related industries.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
• Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev‑ops perspective.

Base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
