Role Overview

Microsoft's Digital Stores team is seeking a results-driven Senior Digital Commerce Manager to own and accelerate growth across our Direct Channel online storefronts. In this high-visibility role, you will shape go-to-market strategy, forge cross-functional partnerships, and ensure customers experience a seamless, compelling purchase journey — from discovery through checkout. You will sit at the intersection of sales, marketing, product, and regional operations, making this an ideal opportunity for a commerce leader who thrives in a fast-moving, data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing plans for multiple Direct Channel storefronts, setting clear targets, milestones, and KPIs.
  • Define seasonal campaign calendars, promotional offers, and pricing strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Continuously review and manage business performance against revenue, conversion, and customer acquisition targets.
  • Translate data insights into actionable optimizations across merchandising, UX, and promotional levers.
  • Present performance dashboards and executive-level business reviews to senior stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders—marketing, finance, engineering, and legal—to ensure consistent campaigns, compelling offers, and synchronized product roadmaps.
  • Champion a unified customer experience across digital touchpoints, resolving conflicts and prioritizing with a customer-first lens.
  • Serve as the primary commerce liaison to the buying team, aligning on product assortment, launch timing, and inventory positioning.
  • Collaborate on long-range product roadmap planning to ensure the online store catalog reflects customer demand and business priorities.
  • Act as the central coordination point between regional Digital Store teams and HQ, ensuring global consistency while enabling local market relevance.
  • Drive knowledge sharing, best practices, and joint planning cycles across geographies.
Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in digital commerce, online retail, or direct channel management.
  • Prior experience at Microsoft, Amazon, or a comparably scaled tech company with a consumer-facing online store.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage end-to-end sales and marketing plans with measurable results.
  • Strong analytical skills; fluent with commerce KPIs (CVR, AOV, ROAS, CAC, LTV).
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

  • Experience working with global or multi-regional digital store teams.
  • Background in software, hardware, or subscription product merchandising.
  • Familiarity with buying/procurement processes and product roadmap governance.
  • Proficiency with commerce analytics platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Power BI, Tableau).
